She completed her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University as well as training in CBT. Sydney additionally holds a Sports Social Work Certification from the University of Michigan. Sydney completed her clinical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Medical Center where she worked extensively with individuals facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use and chronic illness. Sydney has special interest in athlete mental health, drawing on her experience as a former Division 1 athlete to provide insights and guidance to clients who are also navigating the unique pressures and demands of sports performance. Sydney is a therapist who brings a diverse range of theoretical frameworks to her practice. She believes in tailoring her approach to each client's unique needs, while employing a range of evidenced-based practices to develop a personalized treatment plan. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health and Sydney is committed to working collaboratively with her clients to find the strategies and techniques that work best for them. When not working Sydney enjoys pilates, supporting women's sports and spending time with her cat Rue. Sydney is fluent in English.
