I believe everyone deserves support and someone in their corner. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel validated. I welcome any individuals who are open to personal growth and ready to engage in the therapeutic process—whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, trauma, the impact of substance use, or maybe something you aren’t sure of yet. Together, we can build skills in communication, coping, emotional regulation, and social connections to support your growth and healing. My approach to therapy is collaborative and personalized, using a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Acceptance-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in helping clients identify and shift negative thinking patterns and self-talk—especially around anxiety and depression—through cognitive reframing and other supportive techniques. I strive to meet each client where they are, with empathy and without judgment. I believe that the answers often lie within you, and my role is to help guide you toward your own insights and solutions. I consider it an honor to be a small part of your journey. I bring a blend of empathy, directness, and a touch of humor to the work we do together. All are welcome—I aim to ensure every client feels seen, heard, and understood.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and authentic experience. I believe therapy works best when clients feel comfortable being themselves, so I focus on creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I strive to balance professionalism with genuine human connection, and I often incorporate humor when appropriate to help clients feel at ease. I see each client as a unique individual, not as a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms. My goal is to understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and values so that we can work together to create meaningful and lasting change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, or substance use recovery, I will meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your specific needs. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you're feeling nervous, uncertain, or skeptical, that's okay. We can move at a pace that feels comfortable while building the trust and safety necessary for meaningful therapeutic work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach begins with getting to know you. During our first few sessions, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and developing a clear understanding of your background, current concerns, goals, and what brings you to therapy. I believe trust is the foundation of effective therapy, so I take time to ensure you feel heard, understood, and comfortable throughout the process. As we continue working together, we will identify goals that are meaningful to you and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based techniques. Together, we'll work to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and build greater self-awareness and confidence. Throughout treatment, I regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work as needed. My goal is to help you apply the skills, insights, and perspectives gained in therapy to your everyday life so that meaningful growth continues both inside and outside of our sessions.
