I received my Master of Counseling in 2005 and Post Grad certificate in therapy in 2014. I have been working since that time as a therapist. I work with youth, young adults and couples and each group displays different needs. The youth need to connect most with the counselor so I spend time letting them know me. This facilitates the opening of therapy. Adults often wish to download information, which is great. Couples need to feel safe and each person heard. In therapy I believe that clients have the answers already and just need a guide. Expect homework-therapy happens even when I'm not present. You can expect a loving, kind person who wishes good for you, but at times I will push you beyond what feels comfortable. This is my job and my passion. If you read all this and are scared, good. I would encourage you to make an initial intake. You can meet me then and get to know me. I am an open book and welcome questions.
