Psychotherapist
CA
My name is Tala Kolb, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. One of my greatest passions is supporting individuals through life challenges and helping them find tools to increase happiness and quality of life. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego, which laid the foundation for my commitment to mental health and well-being. My approach is client-centered and strength-based, with a holistic lens integrating cognitive behavioral and mindfulness counseling. I find it rewarding to support individuals through self-growth, change, and reaching their goals. I am devoted to uplifting others and honored to be part of your journey. I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults facing various life challenges and mental health issues, including life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship and family issues, coping skills, anger management, eating disorders, children and teens with parents going through divorce, bullying, and social media-related concerns. My counseling style is warm and empathetic, providing a safe space to explore and process feelings to heal. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique needs. I care deeply about people thriving and have always been a seeker of self-growth. I am passionate about helping people fully experience themselves, their work, school, relationships, and life. As a mother of two young children and a Pilates instructor, I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and am driven by seeing people heal and feel good. My goal is to work with you to identify your overall goals by asking thoughtful questions and warmly listening to your needs while assessing where you are in your journey. In our first session, we will build rapport while exploring your current struggles and what brought you to therapy. We may discuss the past, present, and/or future as part of this process.
