What should a new client know about working with you?

I hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology. I received this degree in (2014) from Walden University and a Master of Science degree (2026) in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Psychology from Capella University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My research interest focused on ADD, ADHD, Mental Health Depression, Anxiety, Assault/Abuse Intervention, Disability Rehabilitation, Prolonged Grief Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adult, Adolescent and Child Domestic Violence Prevention. I began providing counseling back in (1999) at the Texas Rehabilitation Commission where I provided trauma and traumatic brain injury cognitive retraining to individuals. I left there and went on to providing domestic violence and family counseling at a rehabilitation shelter for battered women and children. Since that time, I have owned/worked in a variety therapeutic setting, including private counseling practices with clients experiencing an array of trauma, vocational depression, mental health concerns, as well as a rehabilitation center for addiction/mental health disorders for women in-patient and outpatient and counseled survivors of trauma, abuse/assault, and I have worked consulting with managers/supervisors on employees work behavior change modifications.
