What should a new client know about working with you?

As an integrative psychotherapist who approaches therapy through body, mind, and spirit, I blend evidence-based psychological methods along with traditional wisdom to tap into deeper layers of healing, insight, and personal transformation. At the foundation of my work are well-established modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic (Interpersonal) therapy, and Trauma-informed approaches. These provide reliable tools to treat symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and trauma by identifying and transforming patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. I see therapy as a journey of personal evolution, exploring conditioned patterns, decreasing reactivity while increasing awareness and clarity through mindful and compassionate inquiry. At the basis of my practice is the belief that we all possess inner wisdom and the ability to heal our-self, given a compassionate and attuned space where that wisdom can be accessed, trusted, and expressed.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Many individuals I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or burdened by symptoms and patterns that they can't seem to get rid of. Often, there is a longing for something deeper: clarity, inner space, and a longer connection to purpose. In my therapeutic approach, I weave together the present symptoms with their underlying roots from the past, while also guiding clients toward a transformative future. I help people explore how their past shapes patterns in the present-diving into attachment with primary caretakers and early childhood experiences. Moving fluidly through time (past-present-future), we tap into deeply-stored memories through somatically-based and other expressive modalities (art, imagery, EMDR, Focusing, Hakomi). Together, we weave threads of biography into a narrative of purpose-so that even the most painful experiences become integral parts of a larger, meaningful life-story. This dynamic process allows us to move fluidly between the past, the present, and the future, fostering deeper understanding and healing.
