Getting to know Tamisha Rogers

My name is Tamisha Rogers, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Certified Clinical Supervisor for Addiction, and Certified Anger Management Facilitator. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have over 20 years of professional experience working with individuals, families, couples, adolescents, and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, I have gained experience in dual disorders through multiple evidence-based trainings, trauma-focused therapies, and certifications within the mental health, substance abuse, and criminal justice systems. My passion has always been to help individuals become the best version of themselves, regardless of where they have been or their experiences. I approach treatment from a whole health perspective and provide a safe environment for individuals to show up as they need to, no matter what that looks like.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session will consist of reviewing the policy and procedures, expectations, costs, answering any questions you may have, discussing preliminary diagnosis, discussing therapeutic modalities and interventions, and identify goals to formulate treatment plan. You will gain tools, resources, support, and an atmosphere to show up how you need to.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
