“The ability to enter insurance information could be a little bit easier it was a little confusing and it took 48 hours for its process which would have been fine as long as there was notice that it would take that long. After my first session I was only billed for the amount I owed after insurance so it worked fine it was just confusing”

“Tammy is the first therapist I’ve seen who I fully trust and feel like cares about me. She is also open to the other alternative therapies I’m doing (spravato). Really looking forward to a long relationship with her. ??”

Getting to know Tammy Harmon-Rodriguez

Hello! I'm Tammy Harmon-Rodriguez, and I'm excited to potentially work with you on your journey to better mental health. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Women's Studies from The University of Toledo and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a licensed Social Worker in Ohio, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions together. It has been incredibly inspiring to see more people from these backgrounds showing up to confront their past, striving to understand where they come from, and actively working to identify and release the burdens they no longer want to carry. Watching this shift unfold where individuals reclaim their narratives and prioritize their mental well-being has been both humbling and deeply rewarding. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety-related disorders, self-harm, crisis intervention, family systems/complex family-Gottman, anger management, behavioral issues, LGBTQ+, and substance/mental health disorders. I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents and teens, helping them navigate the complexities of cognitive and behavioral health. My career began as a Social Worker working with dually diagnosed adults, which ignited my passion for mental health. Over the past 19 years, I've worked with diverse populations, focusing on dual and co-occurring disorders. My approach is deeply rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, gender/culturally informed care, solution-focused therapy, and family systems. I believe in a client-centered and integrative approach to ensure the highest quality of care. During my time as a clinical director at Serenity Haven, I worked with dually diagnosed women in a residential treatment facility, where I developed a successful family therapy program and trauma-informed psycho-educational groups

Except to be canceled and/or rescheduled multiple times. I saw this provider twice and was rescheduled (sometimes within minutes of my appointment) at least 5 times. Once I decided I was done getting canceled on last minute and began to look for a new provider she charged ME a late fee of $85! I disputed it with the billing team who sent her all the messages between them and I then she proceeded to message me directly rude inappropriate messages!! I can’t believe I was having a hard time so I sought out a therapist only to go through this. How can a “professional” treat a person going through a hard time like this!? I would not recommend her.
