What should a new client know about working with you?

As your therapist, I see you as the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you identify strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and remove barriers that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Together, we will work toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-efficacy so that you can move forward with confidence and purpose. Whether you are navigating a current crisis, processing past trauma, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you build the life you want to live.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with genuine connection, compassion, and-when appropriate-humor. I believe that therapy does not have to feel clinical or intimidating. Sometimes a well-timed laugh can help create perspective, strengthen resilience, and remind us of our shared humanity. I view treatment through a holistic lens, recognizing the important connection between physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. I believe that healing begins with feeling heard and understood. Thoughts, emotions, and life experiences deserve validation, and through that process, meaningful change becomes possible.
