No one is ready to set a goal if I set it for them. Clients have to be ready to be involved in their own goal setting so that their goals are personalized and attainable.

My first session with a new client consists of an intake, background, and screening questions so I can learn as much as possible about the client, what they'd like to accomplish through therapy, and how I can best help them get there.
