GA
I am Tanea McKee, Ed.D., LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Regis University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. I also earned a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Educational Counseling in 2004. I am currently licensed in Delaware, Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin. I am passionate about increasing the accessibility of mental health services in marginalized communities and providing culturally intelligent care. In my free time, I enjoy astrology, the Tarot, crystals, traveling, listening to old school Hip-Hop, and playing with my grandchildren. My approach I believe the client is always in the driver's seat of their journey, with the therapist acting merely as a GPS system. I have experience in Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Transgenerational Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducation, and Intersectionality. My focus My ideal client is one who is motivated for change. My communication style I am an active listener and direct. I provide a caring, compassionate, yet no-nonsense approach when working with my clients. My goals for you My therapeutic goal is to ensure my clients reach the goals they set for themselves and live a healthy life.
