UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I have been in this field since 2014 and work with my patients using a solution-focused, trauma-informed approach. Together, we work through issues to find solutions and trial strategies in real time to address problems head-on, process challenges, and discover what works best for each patient. I come from a background of working in crisis and trauma, having served in medical settings as an ICU social worker and an ED social worker. I have also worked in community-based settings with crisis teams and provided outpatient therapy that incorporates crisis work. I utilize person-centered treatment planning and develop my modalities collaboratively with patients, building on their strengths and what will work best for them. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a clinical social worker who has enjoyed working in this field since I started in mental health in undergrad. My clinical focus is trauma, anxiety and depression and I utilize trauma techniques and short term solution focused treatment. My goal is to help you manage your symptoms and emotions in a healthy way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I usually use CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and trauma treatment techniques. I have the first session as the assessment and I gather as much information and history as possible to ensure I have a full picture. Then we start building rapport and mixing in treatment needs as well. Once a treatment plan is established, I then focus on ensuring that your goals are met based on what you want to focus on.
