Getting to know Taylor Kiener
Taylor Kiener, LCSW, recognizes the strength it takes to reach out for support and the vulnerability involved in sharing difficult emotions. She aims to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can freely express thoughts they may not be able to share elsewhere.
Taylor supports children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and more.
In therapy, Taylor primarily uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and client-centered therapy. Her goal is to help clients develop awareness of and overcome distorted thinking. In every case, Taylor guides clients to recognize that they have control over their future.
Taylor earned a Master's in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her experience includes working with the homeless population as well as youth struggling with substance abuse, domestic violence, and discrimination related to sexual orientation or identity.
