Getting to know Tennille Lott (Smith)
Do you feel as if you do not know how to deal with what life has thrown at you? Feeling as if you are going at this thing called life alone and searching for balance and peace? Just know that you do not have to do this alone. We all go through relationship issues and even areas of childhood that have impacted your current space in life. Providing clinical support with coping tools to assist you through your journey is what I am passionate about. Focusing on mindfulness and wellness is an integral part of my approach.
As a licensed clinical professional counselor with a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, I have dedicated my career to helping others work through anxiety, grief and loss, life's stressors, depression, intergenerational trauma, and substance use. I love mixing various techniques, such as CBT, REBT, and Solution-Focused therapy.
Seeking therapy can be hard, but know that I am here to be your support, create a safe space to heal, and help you develop long-term wellness. I am a compassionate counselor who believes that you have what it takes to find and become the best version of yourself. I look forward to speaking with you!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
