It can be really tough to reach out for help—sometimes just making that first call for an appointment can bring some relief. Hi, I'm Terry Pope, and I love helping folks on their journey to feeling better! My job as your therapist is to assist you in setting achievable goals and creating a path to get there.
I have 25 years of experience empowering people to live their best lives. I really enjoy the unique experience of building a therapeutic relationship with clients and watching the process of change take place. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, having problems communicating in your relationships, or just feeling anxious and/or depressed, together we'll get you on the way to feeling better and living the life you deserve.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively throughout your journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'll help you identify patterns in your life that may be contributing your current struggles and help you understand not only how they began but also how to change them. You'll be able to challenge your negative thoughts and replace them with positive, factual thoughts!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
