My name is Teresina, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years. I specialize in trauma, intimate partner violence survivors, sexual assault survivors, adolescents, young adults, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, PTSD, life changes, and relationships. I also have experience with just about anything else under the sun. I utilize a client-led pathway to therapy and want to give you the tools and space you need to heal and grow. I offer various treatment modalities including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and more.
What should a new client know about working with you?
After your first session you will have an understanding of how therapy works, what treatment modalities are offered, a basic roadmap to healing, and hopefully a sense of relief that you've met a therapist that is a good match for you. Each session after the initial session will have us moving along your roadmap to healing, with pit stops along the way to reassess and re-route if needed. Healing is often non-linear, but I'm here to help guide you along. I provide a warm, safe space where your concerns and feelings are heard and validated.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
