I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) whose combined expertise in the areas of mental health and social work spans 19 years. I specialize in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, PTSD, and Anger Management. Additionally, another unique area of my specialization is providing therapy to other black men who may be dealing with issues and problems facing us in today’s society. Regardless of who you are, I welcome you to schedule a session with me so that we can collaboratively work together in improving your mental health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and change unhelpful thinking patterns, alongside motivational interviewing to support your readiness and motivation for change. I primarily communicate through messaging on the Rula platform. However, can occasionally communicate through my office phone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will primarily be dedicated to my learning about what brought you to therapy and helping you formulate some goals for therapy.
