Terrell Frazier, LCSW

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Terrell! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University at Albany. I use solution-focused therapy to become an agent of change. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help change thinking patterns and recognize distortions in thinking. I use motivational interviewing with clients to elicit and strengthen change. I also use strength-based therapy to allow clients to tell their story and embrace the mindset of being survivors of trauma. My focus I work with a variety of clients, including but not limited to those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, anger management, grief, crisis intervention, bipolar disorder, life transitions, and men's issues. My communication style I like to create an open and honest atmosphere where you feel comfortable working at your own pace. My journey to mental healthcare I entered the counseling field because I wanted to be a change agent and help people move to the next level in life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor. My career has taken me to many settings, including working as a counselor in the criminal justice field and with Veterans populations. My goals for you I like to discuss treatment goals with clients by asking open-ended questions to find what matters most to you. My first session with you In our first session, you can expect to talk about any issues that brought you to treatment. You will be able to ask questions, and we will take time to build rapport with one another.
