I approach all therapy through the lens of grief and loss. These factors are inherently present in almost every struggle in life. My approach I will walk gently with you to discover what your spirit is craving and help you, through open communication and support, guide you to a place of understanding and awareness. My focus I utilize CBT and Solution-focused therapies to achieve our goals. My communication style I communicate through genuine inquiry and caring dialogue, encouraging you to lead and explore. My journey to mental healthcare My journey has been varied. My undergraduate studies were in musical theater, and I spent my 20s performing all over the world. In my 30s, I moved into non-profit work and eventually opened a production studio where I produced documentaries and non-profit documentaries, winning many awards. In my 40s, I became an ordained minister, chaplain, and counselor, using my keen interest in helping others through ministry and counseling. My goals for you To reach your goals, we might employ homework assignments, in-person writings, video or audio presentations, or any other support methods that we agree would assist you in achieving your goals. My first session with you When we first meet, you will want to get to know me and me you. I will spend the first few sessions just assessing your specific needs and building our relationship.
