Hello! I'm Terry, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to potentially work with you. With over 15 years of experience in mental health services, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, families, foster and adoptive parents, individuals, and couples. I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University in Indianapolis, IN, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Franklin College in Franklin, IN. My journey has allowed me to provide a wide range of therapeutic services, including adoption support, intensive in-home therapy, family therapy, premarital and marital therapy, individual therapy, and play therapy utilizing theraplay. I specialize in treating Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorders, ADHD, Anger Management, PTSD, Substance Use Issues, Grief and Loss Issues, and Marital and Family Issues. My approach is rooted in various evidence-based practices, including Strategic Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, SMART Recovery®, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and attachment-based play therapy. I believe in the power of therapy to create lasting change and am committed to supporting my clients in achieving long-term success for themselves and in their relationships. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop new coping strategies, and work towards your personal and relational goals.
