“I was breaking down and felt there was no hope for my situation to ever alleviate. (Thidar goes by Tina). Tina listened and was sympathetic and was patient in hearing me out. And slowly, Tina began to ask questions and find alternate ways of looking at my situation. What I thought was utterly hopeless turned into a challenge for me to fight. I learned to accept my situation, that plans don‚Äôt always work out and that our lives change even when we are older and even when we don‚Äôt want change.”
