"Hello, I'm T.J., and I'm glad you're here. You're probably feeling 'stuck' in life, and that's okay. Maybe you're a parent facing challenges with your child's unique behavioral, emotional, or academic needs and are seeking guidance. Or perhaps you're navigating a significant life transition, such as starting or ending a relationship, going to college, or starting a new job, and you need emotional support and validation. My goal is to help individuals, families, and couples gain insight into their challenges and cope through distressful situations. In therapy, my overarching goal is to support you through your personal challenges while providing you with the tools to self-regulate your emotions, express your wants and needs, and process complex traumas. I focus on treating individuals with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and behavioral issues. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, designed to equip you with tools that will help you manage your emotions throughout your life. When appropriate, I involve significant people in your life, such as family members or partners, to increase your support network. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. With over a decade of training, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and other approaches tailored to your specific needs. I have extensive experience working with families and providing parent training for complex behavioral issues. I specialize in a wide range of areas, including addiction, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, depression, developmental disabilities, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, OCD, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, learning disorders, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma.
