Getting to know Thuy Tran
Has anyone ever told you that they understand what you are saying, only for you to feel otherwise? Hi, my name is Thuy (pronounced "Twee") Tran. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan and over 16 years of experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, mental health needs, and life goals. I provide personalized therapeutic services to those facing unprecedented life events and/or who have difficulty coping with mental health challenges such as trauma, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and anxiety. I consider myself a "worry worker," someone who helps others identify and utilize their inner resilience to cope with many forms of life stressors. It's one thing to feel "heard," but it's another to "be understood." My hope is for you to "feel heard and be understood."
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a lifetime learner, I believe in the importance of education. Knowledge is power. For my clients to gain a better understanding of themselves and the barriers that may be obstructing their daily functioning, I would like to equip them with the tools that will foster their personal growth for years to come.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
