Tiffany McKnight, LCPC

Psychotherapist
MD
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I am committed to the wellness of each person I encounter; a compassion that extends to all. For well over a decade, I have amassed a breadth of experience in a variety of human services roles and find my work as a Mental Health Clinician most rewarding. My approach My treatment philosophy is grounded in a person-centered approach with unbiased, objective support to address presenting concerns. The process starts at intake, where the goal is to assist you in making the connection between somatic experiences and mental/emotional barriers/distress in order to understand and begin the process of goal completion. My focus My specialty areas include anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use disorders, life skills, and anger management. Using an evidence-based, solution-focused, person-centered approach, I offer a healing therapeutic space where the focus is on you. I am a firm believer in the therapeutic relationship, and space is created to give you the autonomy to curate your journey. My communication style I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a profound admiration for human resilience and a calling to help others navigate life’s most difficult moments. At the heart of my practice is a simple but unwavering belief: no matter how painful the past or overwhelming the present, every person holds the capacity for growth and renewal. Witnessing clients discover their strength, reclaim their confidence, or simply find moments of peace is what makes this work so meaningful to me. My goals for you Therapy is a collaborative journey. My role is to walk alongside you as we clarify your goals, whether that means strengthening relationships, fostering self-confidence, or achieving other personal growth.
