Tiffany Quijano, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there, I'm Tiffany! In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. I work with adult women who are struggling with burnout, stress, anxiety, life phase changes, depression, and feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life. We’ll spend time getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to feel differently moving forward. There is no pressure to share everything at once. You can move at your own pace and simply show up as you are. Some clients come in ready to talk deeply, while others may simply need a space to breathe, process, and begin opening up—and both are okay. We’ll also begin identifying the goals that matter most to you and create a personalized path forward together. My role is to provide support, insight, and a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to begin your healing journey. My therapy approach is based on CBT skills and mindfulness DBT skills.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Women often come to me feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Many are balancing careers, relationships, caregiving roles, and daily responsibilities while struggling with stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or feeling like they constantly put everyone else’s needs before their own. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where women feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful changes in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use an individualized and collaborative approach because every woman’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. I work with women experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, emotional overwhelm, and difficulties balancing the demands of everyday life. Together we identify goals, build effective coping skills, strengthen emotional well-being, and create practical strategies that support lasting growth and healing.
