Getting to know Tiffany Zalusky

It can be hard to talk about our insecurities and the things that bother us. It can be hard to feel vulnerable and experience uncomfortable emotions with others. Sometimes it can even feel like we might explode from carrying around these thoughts and feelings because we don't have a safe place to let it all out. My goal as your therapist is to provide you the space and support to talk about the things most important to you without fear of judgment. I hope to work with you to accomplish your goals and to cheerlead you along your journey of growth. Whether that means beginning to shift negative thinking and behavior patterns into thoughts and behaviors of compassion or developing skills to improve communication and strengthen relationships, I am grateful for the opportunity to provide you with the support and empathy that we all need when life happens. Some of my specialties include working with adults on: - Depression - Anxiety - Life transitions - Adjustment disorders - Mood disorders - Parent-child conflict - Conflict resolution - Boundary issues - Communication issues I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. The first step is just showing up, and I can't wait to meet you!
