Hi, I’m Tilisha. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation (LPCC-S), who has provided counseling services for over 15 years. During my years of practice, I have seen many client's who feel overwhelmed with their day-to-day life and need to find better ways to cope. One way that I try to help clients reduce that overwhelming feeling is by being warm, interactive, respectful, genuine, and culturally inclusive in our work together. My goal is always to help clients build a deeper awareness of themselves, believe that they can reduce symptoms that are plaguing their lives, and just feel more capable of handling what has come at them. If you choose to work with me, we will do this in a collaborative way where a mix of several different theoretical and treatment approaches, such as humanistic, cognitive, behavioral, systemic, psychodynamic, and other existential therapies, helps us build the skills you need for your unique self. It's my hope—should you choose to work with me—that you and I are proud of the work we do together, that we respect the processes that can create long-lasting change, and that you feel supported by me in the ways you need.
