Getting to know Tim Masters

I am licensed as a clinical social worker in Ohio, Maine, California, and Wyoming, with 9 years of clinical work experience. I got my MSW from The Ohio State University, specializing in mental health treatment. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, bipolar disorder, and OCD, amongst other problems. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Your treatment plan will be personalized to meet your unique and specific needs. Therapy takes commitment and hard work, and I am excited that you have chosen to start down the path to recovery. I look forward to working together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that understanding your illness is a big part of learning to manage it, so I like to educate clients on their illness. We will also, of course, address the psychological side of mental health but also consider the effects of physical health, social health, environmental factors, etc. I also frequently suggest things to do between sessions that can aid the therapeutic process.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
