Getting to know Tim Rogers

At this time, I am choosing to work only with individual men, men of color, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community-including those questioning. I am not working with couples at this time. ?Everyone's childhood plays itself out.? Our first understanding of ourselves comes from the first people we know. From there, the other relationships we participate in tend to reflect those aspects of ourselves previously learned. I specialize in successfully treating the presenting symptoms of childhood trauma, including-and often self-limiting-substance abuse, social and intrapersonal anxieties, clinical, situational, and abandonment depression, and the often self-sabotaging and socially unacceptable yet still ubiquitous unresolved rage. As a California and Arizona Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Alliant International University, I am privileged to work with a variety of highly intelligent and uniquely talented people who, due to a lifetime of psychological, spiritual, and philosophical pain, are often the last to be aware of their authenticity as their true value. The kind of pain that breeds overwhelming feelings of anxiety and depression; encourages thoughts of confusion; and discourages the truth in one's potential or abilities. All of which lends itself toward self-destructive behaviors that double down as ?proof? of our unworthiness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I only work with couples who are either already each in their own individual therapies or willing to work with me this way in addition to the relationship work.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Tim never showed up to my appointment and trying to call his office was a nightmare of Ai robots not helping me. I can’t even figure out how to contact him and ask what happened because he’s using grow therapy and their entire customer support team is just an Ai bot that doesn’t understand what I’m asking.

Tim has a deep sense of understanding of his clients and entails warmness in his sessions. I feel empowered when I leave my sessions and very much cared for. Tim is the best!
This is my very first time going to therapy, and having Tim as my therapist has been wholeheartedly the true definition of what therapy is. My personal experience with Tim has exceeded all expectations! Having an outlet and guidance to continue my growth toward learning how to cope and recognize emotions, thoughts, and behaviors rooted in past traumas has tremendously helped with my personal relationships. Tim creates a warm, empathetic, embracing, and understanding atmosphere that truly validates you as a client, making you feel seen and free of judgment. Since the day I began, my growth in life has significantly improved, and I am so grateful to have been under Tim's guidance and care. Thank you, Tim, for everything!
Tim really understands his craft and finds ways to bring things into clarity and provides phenomenal support and safe space. In 4 sessions I already feel I’ve tapped into core realizations to my anger and have set up a clear path to addressing the root of my anger and how to release myself from it.
I’ve enjoyed my sessions with time. It’s a good refreshing session where I can vent. He has given me tools that I can use throughout life and daily to self validate and contain my personal goals. I’d recommend Tim for anyone looking to grow and improve.
Probably one of the best therapists I have ever met, and I been through a few of them. I am very happy with my experience so far with Tim.
Tim is an exceptional therapist who leads with compassion and intelligence. I think he truly wants to see positive outcomes and works with you to achieve those. I’m very happy that I met Tim.
Excellent sessions. Very helpful approach
I feel like Tim understands me. He is sympathetic yet honest. This is empowering me to address some childhood reactive patterns.
