I hold a Bachelor's degree from Rowan University and a Master's in Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I have over 16 years of experience as a licensed clinical therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My expertise includes treating Depression, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Women's Trauma, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Addictions, Anger Management, Adjustment Disorders, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I work collaboratively with each client to develop the most appropriate and effective intervention and treatment plan. I utilize multiple treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I find both approaches highly effective in treating many psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. Most importantly, these interventions foster a collaborative relationship between clinician and client, allowing the client to be an active participant in their treatment. My guiding principles as a therapist include providing objective and supportive feedback, working closely with each client to ensure we develop the most effective individualized treatment plan, building trust and a healthy rapport, ensuring client confidentiality, and maintaining open communication to promote a productive therapeutic environment. I also prioritize continuity of care, including as-needed communication with the client's support system and other pertinent treatment providers.
