“Tina really made me feel comfortable from the start of the session which made me feel open to share. She slowed me down and accessed my strength by asking me questions related to what I've already done, and provided me reframe and tangible next steps I can use. She really validated my experiences and feelings by giving it language and a "bigger picture" of my process. She explained EDMR to me as well and its benefits and side effects which was helpful.”

Getting to know Tina Xiong Gonzalez

I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaboration in which individuals are the experts in their lives, and therapy is a tool to support the transformation they are hoping for. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Culver City. My areas of expertise include working with young adults and adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, self-esteem, addiction, and depressive symptoms. My practice style focuses on creating a safe and empathic space for individuals to explore their life’s problems, transitions, dynamics, and barriers. My goal is to help individuals feel more connected to themselves and develop awareness that supports living their best lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our initial session will focus on developing identifiable goals you would like to work on. I intend to create a transparent relationship in assisting you through your overall wellness journey. I will engage in an ongoing conversation about your therapy treatment and progress.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
