With 26 years of experience, I've learned that people are incredibly resilient, and that there are many ways to help. I bring a flexible, personalized approach to therapy that meets you exactly where you are. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, feeling stuck, or not feeling quite like yourself, I'm here to help you find a path to resolution. I help adults who are experiencing challenges related to difficult or painful feelings, anxiety & stress, depression, grief & loss, difficult relationships, and major life transitions. Using an integrated, evidence-based approach, I tailor our work together to your unique needs and goals and understand that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. You’ll have space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, while also gaining insights and tools that are practical and useful in your daily life. My goal is to help you feel more clear & steady, more resilient and more like yourself again. *Please note that I do not take Medicare/Medicaid and I do not prescribe medication.*

What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring over two decades of experience. I see each client as a unique individual and also as whole person with a personal story - and that’s where we start. I’m collaborative and down-to-earth. Therapy isn’t about me sitting back in silence while you do all the heavy lifting. I’ll engage with you, ask thoughtful questions, share insights, and help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a way that feels useful in your daily life. I use an integrated, evidence-based approach, which is a polished way of saying I don’t force you into one style of therapy. I pull from different modalities based on what most resonates with you and is most helpful to you. My role is to meet you wherever you are and help you move forward in a way that leads to steady, meaningful and sustainable progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Getting started is simple - schedule your first session and complete a few quick forms so we can make the most of our time. During this first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy and get a sense of whether our working together feels like a good fit. From there, we’ll identify clear goals and a direction that makes sense for you. During our follow up sessions, our work together will be collaborative, practical and paced in a way that feels manageable. We'll focus on building insight and real-life tools you can use outside of sessions. Along the way, we’ll check in on what’s working and make adjustments as needed. As you begin to feel more confident and supported, we’ll focus on maintaining your progress and helping you move forward.
