Hello,
My name is Tom, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) practicing in the Sacramento area of California. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from National University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with teens and young adults. I am passionate about helping people understand how teens think and operate, and I focus on the most effective ways to engage with them. I have experience coaching parents on managing behaviors and have found that when parents adjust their responses to their teens, it often leads to positive changes in the teens' behavior.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have a frank approach with people while balancing out with understanding of how hard it is to raise a teen. I focus on developing skills, figuring out how to change behaviors and responses to get a different outcome.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
