Wiley Pittman, LCMHC

Psychotherapist
NC
Hi there, I'm Tom Pittman! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Nevada. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Grand Canyon University and my Bachelor’s from High Point University. I believe everyone has the answers they seek inside of them, and it's my job to help you get to those answers. In my spare time, I play golf, guitar, and enjoy walks on the beach. My approach I don’t have a set agenda for how I work with people. As a person-centered therapist, I believe it’s important for the person I’m seeing to tell me what they want to work on. Together, we will formulate a plan to get where you want to be. My focus I am comfortable working with people of all shapes, sizes, and conditions. My communication style I hope we can laugh and have a little fun from time to time. While what we do is serious business, let’s be honest—none of us are getting out of here alive, so we might as well laugh instead of cry! My journey to mental healthcare I spent 29.5 years in the cigarette business. Then I got sober. In my sobriety journey, it became clear that this is what I’m supposed to be doing. I figure if I spent most of my life promoting a product that kills people, it’s the least I can do from here on out. My goals for you As a person-centered therapist, I want to work on what you wish to work on. My first session with you I try hard to put you at ease, appreciate you for coming in, and hopefully share a laugh or two. We are doing therapy here, not heart surgery!
