Psychotherapist
GA
I am excited that you have taken your first step in your journey of hope and healing. I look forward to helping you get to where you wish to go. I work with individuals who have challenges and struggles in the areas of depression, trauma, anger management, anxiety, stress, and life changes. Many experience mental and emotional health concerns, and all are working toward a life of stability and peace of mind. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience working with diverse populations and age groups. I have worked in environments of grief, crisis, and despair as well as in those to promote skill building, strength, empowerment, and self-love. My approach My counseling style is relaxed, practical, encouraging, and empowering. In most cases, my approach starts with the mind. It is very important to me that you learn to identify and understand your way of thinking and learn to process and perceive problems in healthy ways. Learning acceptance is also important; struggling with things that are out of our control is distressing. I also want you to utilize your own unique strengths and use what has and will work for you. It is exciting for me to watch you grow and become empowered. I enjoy seeing individuals connect past and present and have breakthroughs right there in our session! My focus Becoming stable and balanced in your heart, mind, and soul is my goal for you as well as hope and healing. Having an untroubled heart, a peaceful mind, and a joyful soul will be our ultimate goal. My communication style Open communication is important. You should feel that our sessions are a safe space; no judgement and the freedom to open up about whatever is causing distress. My communication style is very reality-based, with encouragement, compassion, and warmth as well as some humor.
