Getting to know Tova Woullard
I have been working in the human service field for the past 20 years. I work with the geriatric population, military families, active-duty members and veterans, teens with academic issues, child custody issues, or juvenile delinquency, foster kids and blended homes, individuals with immunodeficiency disorders, incarcerated adults-both males and females in jails and prisons-and those reentering society. I also support individuals struggling with addictions (alcohol and drugs), self-esteem issues related to oppression and privilege concerning race, the homeless, and those facing abuse, neglect, exploitation, or abandonment. I help with acceptance and change. Additionally, I work with the LGBTQ2+ community, divorce and separation issues, and those in polyamorous relationships.
I specialize in ADHD, Alcohol Use Disorder/alcoholism, anger management, anxiety, chronic illness, chronic relapse, codependency, communication skill building, coping skills, divorce, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, family conflict, grief, life coaching, dating and romance issues, life transitions, marital and premarital issues, peer relationships, personality disorders, racial identity, re-entry into society, self-esteem, spirituality, stress, substance use, thinking disorders, transgender issues, weight loss, and women's issues.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Simmons College.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The client's first session will be one in which the client completes an assessment telling brief parts of their life story, but in an orderly fashion. Therapist will help the client with moving forward through coaching, validating, allowing collaborative processing, asking clarifying questions, providing referrals, psychoeducation, by modeling skills and via encouragement. Takeaways from each session with me should be increased self-awareness, education, and/or a potentially different way of viewing your current situation.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
