Toya Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 10 years of experience providing individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, and their families in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Child and Family Practice from Illinois State University.
Toya’s clinical experience covers a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse/neglect, grief and loss, anger management, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), self-esteem, body image, stress, parenting, attachment, academic and behavioral difficulties, social skills, and conflict resolution. She employs a variety of treatment methods, from expressive and experiential techniques to cognitive behavioral approaches, aiming to help individuals improve their functioning by empowering them to manage the complexities of their lives.
Toya has a passion for helping individuals achieve a healthy life balance, both naturally and spiritually. She currently practices in the Frankfort, IL area, offering both in-person and Telehealth services.
