What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is down to earth, compassionate, and honest. I am unique in my approach as I often use self-disclosure as a way to relate to someone’s experience. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while offering a combination of eclectic therapies and problem-solving approaches.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

For intake sessions (the first session), typically we go over the completed paperwork to gather more background and historical information. We also go over symptoms, discuss a provisional diagnosis and discuss dates and times for future therapy sessions. For individual therapy sessions, we talk about whatever the client has going on for them. We may revisit the prior weeks session, we may discuss homework- it’s very client directed.
