Getting to know Traci Munden

My name is Traci Munden, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing for 8 years after receiving my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington with a specialization in Direct Practice. Throughout my career, I have held many roles, from therapist to Director, which has given me a broad perspective on the challenges real life can bring. I have spent much of my time treating individuals with substance abuse-related issues, mood disorders, panic disorders, and trauma. I have also supported those navigating life transitions such as divorce, grief, loss, and going to college. I prefer an eclectic approach to therapy that includes solution-focused, reality-based, and CBT techniques. This means some sessions are relaxed and focused on getting to know each other, while others may include homework and assignments. The pace of therapy is usually guided by the client. I understand that everyone’s journey is unique, and I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to honor that.
