Tre'von Peoples, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Id say my upbringing inspired me from my home to school. I have seen and heard mental health being mentioned as important and encouraged to take care of. Id say full circle of having gone to therapy, becoming a therapist, and providing therapy is rewarding in itself, Id have to put a paragraph explaining why, so Ill leave it as that. I look at therapy as a unique relationship that both mirrors and overlaps qualities of a good friend, parent, sibling, partner, etc., where both the therapist and client focus on tackling the concerns heshe presents in therapy. I'd say a client can expect a thorough therapy session where any progress is made in your life in any form that day and time. It could be something I said or a question you asked, I want you to walk away from session better than before.Initially, when we meet and talk, I'll formulate ideas of what we can do as I ask questions, and you, too. I like to break it down into SMART goals ( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound) of the game plan. My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their struggles openly. I bring empathy, authenticity, and collaborative support, helping clients gain clarity, build on their strengths, and make meaningful, lasting changes at their own pace. I've had opportunity to serve diverse population of clients from families to couples to kids. Currently I am season of seeing prospective individual clients from ages 13-64. I am adaptable and will work with any client to get the concerns addressed and solved. Ideally I like clients that are open and willing to do the work in therapy with the therapist to best of their ability.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
