“She truly was so so patient with me considering I had to have my son in the room with me during our session. She took the time to really try and ask all sorts of questions to get a broad and quick understanding of who I am and my current situation. She found ways to connect with me and lighten the mood. So so glad I chose her as my first experience with therapy!”

Getting to know Trisha Leamon

Hi, I am Trisha Leamon, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have had an interest in human behavior for as long as I can remember. I enjoy helping my clients source their strengths and achieving effective ways to navigate life’s challenges. My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work with clients who are facing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, divorce, codependence, and grief. I especially enjoy working with clients who are navigating difficult transitions such as divorce, relationships, work, adding to their family, retirement, and the many other journeys of life. My personal experience of my sons passing in 2008 was a large part of my desire to work in the counseling field. Through my own journey, I recognized how difficult past experiences can often play large roles in how we navigate life. My goal with therapy is to offer my clients a caring, attuned therapist as we find new ways to solve problems, heal old wounds, and strengthen the way you live your life. I embrace client focused/strength based theories, CBT, and love the works of Brene Brown.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She was a great first session. Having not seen a therapist for a long time, it was great to be back in a session.
I appreciate being able to talk about how I feel without being told how I should be feeling. Thank you!
I really enjoy our sessions. Trisha makes my experience comfortable and always feeling more uplifted throughout my day.
I feel comfortable talking to her about my weaknesses and fears, which due to my upbringing are embarrassing to mention.

She knows how to make me feel my authentic self , we just started my sessions so we are getting to know about my issues. She is friendly and kind and I feel safe talking to her.
Very understanding and attentive.
She's wonderful, she listens, doesn't come off as judgemental, and is humble. It's almost like she makes you feel like she can relate to what your going through..she makes you feel comfortable to open up to her at your pace.
Very helpful person to talk to. I always feel better after our sessions and have noticed a major improvement in my mental health just having someone warm to talk to. Trisha is easy to relate to and easy to talk to. She remembers details about me and always makes me feel important.
