Psychotherapist

Hi and welcome. My name is Maria. I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults on a variety of issues. My experience comes from over 20 years of working in psychiatric emergency rooms and psychiatric inpatient units for both adults and adolescents. I also have over 15 years of experience as a school social worker, where I worked with general education as well as special education students. Additionally, I provided positive parenting training during my time in the school setting. Change can be overwhelming, and sometimes it's difficult to know where to begin. Do you feel irritable, alone in a crowd, unable to sleep, or constantly run down? Is it difficult to get along with family members and peers? Have you stopped sharing your feelings with friends for fear of being judged? Are you feeling depressed or anxious? I'll meet you where you are in your life. I will help you move forward and discover your value as a person using evidence-based techniques. Let's work together-I look forward to hearing from you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
