I am looking forward to working with you to build trust and create a safe environment where you can express your feelings without fear of judgment. My approach Each of us has different ways to address our challenges. What works for one person may not work for another. By working as a team, we can better navigate our issues and bring more peace and calm into our lives. Often, small changes can help us achieve this. Life is a journey filled with opportunities to learn new ways to cope. Change is a process, and many times we only have control over our actions and how we respond. Our inner critic can be relentless, shaped by childhood experiences. For quite some time, my personal goal has been to disarm my critic and cultivate self-love. My focus The main focus in our lives is to love and accept ourselves while exploring the changes we want to make. Taking small steps can lead to significant growth over time. This process requires patience and commitment. My communication style I strive to make our sessions a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly, without judgment or condemnation. Respect is essential in our interactions. While we may not always agree, these differences help us learn to respect one another. My journey to mental healthcare I come from a very religious family where many activities available to my peers were not allowed for me. I believe this journey has shaped who I am today. Although my early career was not in mental health, I was always drawn to helping others in various ways. As I grew older and began to see things differently, I made significant changes in my life. Change is often uncomfortable and challenging, but gaining new perspectives helped me better understand others. Education I hold a Bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
