“Vanessa is incredibly understanding and never makes me feel judged. She takes the time to understand both sides and helps me recognize where I may be wrong or could approach things differently. She encourages me to see situations from different perspectives, focus on the positive, and keep an open mind. She has helped me understand myself better, think before reacting, and grow as a person. I always feel heard, supported, and comfortable being honest with her. I truly appreciate her guidance.”

I help clients navigate life changes, anxiety, depression and self-doubt with respect, curiosity and compassion. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered and connected to yourself. My focus I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, phase of life issues/transitions, grief, trauma and self-esteem issues. Collaboratively we can build a plan tailored to your specific needs that will feel not only empowering but, also promote insight and growth. My approach I utilize a collaborative and integrative approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and so many others. Believing there is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach, I tend to tailor my approach to your needs. My communication style I prioritize honest, open and direct communication to create and supportive, transparent and safe environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began with a curiosity about human resilience stemming from a desire to understand myself and human behavior further. Working with various different populations taught me the importance of being versatile and compassionate. It has driven my belief that no matter your age/stage in life, everyone has the capacity for growth. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be.
