I enjoy working side by side and supporting adults who are struggling with self-esteem, stress, anger, anxiety or depression. I believe it is important to build healthy relationships through learning appropriate communication and social skills. My focus is on helping my clients process and identify their repressed emotions through therapeutic strategies such as mindfulness, art therapy, or journaling. As your therapist, it will be my job to equip you with the coping skills needed to aid you as you go through this journey of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the initial therapy session I focus on getting to know you so that I can better understand what you are struggling with. In this initial session, you will get a good feel of my therapeutic style in order to decide if I am a good fit for you. If you do decide that I am a good fit for you, we will explore your goals and create a plan to achieve them- a fancy therapy word for this is a treatment plan! I will also give my clients an opportunity to ask any questions that may arise during this initial session. After your initial session, the real work begins as we will do a deep dive into working on progressing towards achieving your goals in therapy together. Some examples of a client's goals could include the following: increasing self-awareness, learning coping skills, implementing a behavioral change, explore ways to increase self-esteem, and learn problem-solving skills just to name a few. Remember, therapy is not a one size fits all, so all treatment plans and sessions will be tailored to fit the needs of the client.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
