Getting to know Vanessa Nelson

Without help, life can become tumultuous and stressful to manage. I want to help break away from the stigma that mental health carries and be of service by supporting you through difficult challenges, as well as celebrating the successes you can experience. If you are looking for a therapist who is empathetic, considerate of your needs, and provides a gentle but firm nudge toward accomplishing your goals, then I may be a resource for you. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University and have experience working with youth and adults, as well as various family structures, who face a multitude of stressors. From helping those who suffer from trauma, unhealthy coping mechanisms, depression, anxiety, relational issues, defiance or opposition, identity issues, and more, my desire and goal is to build hope and support you in bridging the gap between that hope and the actualization of your goals. I am determined to be seen as an ally, guide, mentor, or coach in your network of support.
