Getting to know Vanity Rogers

Greetings. Whatever led you to this site, this profile, in this moment—welcome! Life can be complicated, overwhelming, and flat out hard. However, it CAN also be purposeful, rewarding, and fulfilling. Whatever you may have encountered on your journey so far and whatever your needs may be in this moment that brought you here, I'm honored to provide a safe space for you to explore and work through it. Together, we can identify what's not working and what’s needed to get you aligned with the life you envision. We'll use a whole-self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Guidance Services from Old Dominion University, which informs my compassionate and comprehensive approach. There's no time like the present.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session will be used to get to know each other. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, and what you want to get out of it. We will discuss presenting concerns and establish some goals. As sessions progress, you can anticipate frequent check-ins on my end. These are your sessions, and I want to be sure they are beneficial and accomplishing your therapeutic needs.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
