I am Venessia Johnson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who is passionate about helping individuals improve their emotional well-being and quality of life. I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, anger and other emotional challenges. My clients often have goals such as learning how to better process and control their emotional challenges. They also seek tools and skills to manage anger, increase self-esteem and develop coping skills. Others come to therapy because they want to become a better version of themselves-not only for themselves but also for the people they love. In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs. CBT is utilized to help clients develop healthier thought patterns. Additionally, DBT is utilized to provide tools for emotional regulation and healthier relationships.
