Getting to know Veronica Mial

Whoever thought you could feel so alone in a world so big? While we all face similar problems, the impact can be so different. Hello! My name is Veronica Mial, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I earned my Master's in Social Work from North Carolina Central University. Over the past ten years, I have worked with individuals and families within vulnerable populations, including those who have faced issues such as homelessness, addiction, and other trauma. Whether you are dealing with transition and change in life, struggling with implementing boundaries, or facing common challenges like self-doubt, depression, or anxiety, my goal is to work with you to identify the sources of these feelings and determine a course of action to best address them. I am here to provide a safe space and a fresh perspective for individuals who are open to a person-centered approach. I believe in being intentional with our therapeutic methods to ensure they are specific and unique to your individual needs. My goal is not to make decisions for you but to work alongside you, providing the necessary tools and support to help you navigate through this thing called life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session, we will work together to identify what your goals are for counseling. I will take the time to learn about what approaches or either helpful or unhelpful for you. I truly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist, thus will always provide the space for feedback, questions or other insight.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits
