Vickie Swindling, LCSW

Vickie Swindling, LCSW

Psychotherapist
VA
I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and Virginia, specializing in trauma and aging. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Walden University. I work with adults experiencing issues like depression, anxiety, phase of life complications, grief, and trauma. As a certified DBT therapist, I can help manage personality disorders as well. Therapy should be welcoming and supportive. I offer sessions that are casual and relaxed, where you are in control. You will choose the goals you want to work on, and I will supply the tools, information, and support to help you achieve those goals. A little about me: I've been married for 36 years and have a 29-year-old son. My husband and I live in a fifth wheel with our two cats and travel the country.

What should a new client know about working with you?

There is a lot of value in sharing your difficulties with someone else, but even more value when you include action. I combine listening with problem-solving, tools, and natural behaviors to help you achieve a healthy, happy life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
